In this Photoshop tutorial, I’m going to show you Halloween Photoshop Manipulation Editing photos in 5 easy steps! The first step is to create a new Gradient Fill with grayscale noise. Let me show you how to do that.

HOW TO USE MY BACKGROUND:
- First You Have To Download My HD Background Stock
- Then You Have To Open Photoshop
- When You Open the Photoshop Application You Have To Replace Your Photo with My HD Background
- Then You Have To Erase Your Background with Photoshop Using PEN Tool or Any Other Eraser Tool
- And Then Adjust Your Photo with the Background
- And You Can Also Add Some Effects Like (HDR Effect, Smoke, Dodge and Burn, Shadow, Color Grading)

Head over and select the Quick Selection Tool. Select the entire person. Hold ALT to subtract from selection. When you’re done, head up to Select and Mask. Select the Refine Edge Brush Tool. Select around the hair. Output To: New layer with layer mask. Then hit OK. Create a new adjustment layer > Solid Color.
I’m going to select a dark blue. Color code: 000d18 then hit OK. Drag the solid color below the man. Then click on our top layer. Create a new adjustment layer > Levels. Clip to layer below. Drag the slider shadow to the right. About 8. Then hit close. Head down and create a new layer. Drag it below the man layer. Halloween Photoshop Manipulation Editing
I’m going to rename it to Light. Change the Blend Mode to Soft Light. Have your foreground color set to White. Then select your Brush Tool. (B) Make sure you’re using a brush with soft edges. Brush Opacity 100%. Add light behind the man like so. Create a new layer. Rename it to Clouds. Foreground black and Background white. Edit > Fill. Contents: Black.
Then hit OK. Head up to Filter > Render > Clouds. Change the Blend Mode > Color Dodge. Hold ALT + Click mask. Your mask should be black. Brush Tool selected. (B) Select a brush with soft edges. I’m going to add the clouds back around the light. Bring your Brush Opacity down. About 25%.Halloween Photoshop Manipulation Editing
Add clouds to the surrounding areas. Alright, that looks good. Bring your Brush Opacity back up to 100%. Next, click on the mask. Change your foreground to black. Brush Tool selected.(B) Be sure to use a brush with soft edges Mask the areas, where you want to apply the effect Head down and create a new layer Make sure it’s at the top I’m going to rename this layer to small Head up to the Brush Presets Then select the Glass Brush. Spacing: 100% Then click on Shape Dynamics Size Jitter 30%. Angle Jitter: 50%. Click on “Create new brush” I’m going to rename it to Glass Brush. Have all 3 settings checked Then hit OK. Your new brush should be saved Change your foreground color to white Start adding the glass Small pieces first Head down, create a new layer Rename it to Medium Increase your brush size Start adding more Glass Head down, Create another new layer Rename it to large. You can use your bracket keys to change brush size. [ ] Head down and create a new layer Rename it to Glass Motion Blur Add more glass; make sure it’s fairly small pieces Then head up to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. Angle about 58| Distance 8 Pixels Then hit OK. Head down and create a new layer Rename it to Glass Motion Blur 2 Add small pieces of glass to the left side Then head up to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. Rename it to Offset Add more glass to the surrounding areas. Use different sizes. Create a new layer > Rename it “Large Glass Blur” Increase your Brush size. Head over the select your Eraser Tool Erase some of the glass So only a few are visible. Then head up to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur Blur Radius: 3 Pixels Halloween Photoshop Manipulation Editing
Then hit OK Select the top layer Duplicate it, CTRL + J. Select your Move Tool. (V) Move it to the right side. CTRL + T to select it Rotate it as needed Hit Enter when you’re done Head down and create a new layer Rename it to Small Glass Particles Foreground color white. Then select your Brush Tool (B) Locate the Particle/Dust brush Start adding the particles Head down, create a new layer Rename it to particle motion blur Start adding more Particles Halloween Photoshop Manipulation Editing
These ones will be blurred. Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. Change the Angle 90 Distance 8 Pixels Then hit OK Create a new layer Rename it to Camera Crack Foreground white Brush Tool selected Select one of the cracked brushes Add the camera cracks as you want I’m going to clean up our work area Select the top layer.
Hold SHIFT and select the bottom glass layer. Then head down and create a group. I will rename this to Glass Right click on the group > Duplicate group Then hit OK. Hide the bottom group Right click on the top group > Convert to Smart Object Filter > Sharpen > Smart Sharpen Amount 85% Radius 1.0Px Then hit OK Select the levels layer.
Then head down and create a new layer Rename it to cracks Foreground white Brush Tool selected Find a nice cracked brush Download link for these brushes in description I will select this one I will rotate it slightly ALT + Click between the two layers to create a clipping mask Start adding as many cracks as you want Create a new adjustment layer > Color Lookup.
I will select a nice blue. Crisp winter. Bring down the opacity to about 50%. Head down and create a new layer. Rename it to Highlights. Change the Blending Mode > Soft Light. Foreground set to white. Brush Tool selected.
Use a brush with soft edges. Add highlights to some of the glass. That’s it! Thx for watching.
