After masking the player I did some retouching on her face, legs and shirt. This was all done with the healing brush and clone stamp. For the background I combined a couple of paint strokes together, the paint strokes were made with the brush tool.
The reason I started this project is because I wanted to do something with the watercolor paint splash I made, I just wanted to play around with it. – Let’s turn on the other adjustments and textures clipped onto the player.
In the main mask I brushed away some parts and also in the overall mask I made some adjustments.
The particles are also made with the brush tool
Lets turn on the light effects map.
The main light swoosh is basically a transformed
texture set to screen.
And by duplicating the football and set it
to screen mode I was trying to achieve some motion.
I also drew some lines with a tiny brush for
an illustrated effect. Now let’s turn the layers on in the behind he player map. These are mostly paint, textures and color overlays. Let’s jump to the overall folder and turn some layers on. This folder contains a lot of light effects and other details.
an important element in this creation is the typography, I had to do some experimenting with the blending modes before achieving the result I was hoping for. On top I added some clarity with the camera raw filter. Thanks for watching and see you guys around. This one is more common than the other technique I made a tutorial of. This is a good example of what it does to the skin.
If you zoom in you can still see the skin texture, and that’s what you want. Here is another example. Let’s jump to this untouched photo and get started. You start with making 2 copies of your layer and call them blur and sharp. Let’s group the layers by pressing command or ctrl + G on both layers. Now select the blur layer and go to Filter, Blur and then Gaussian Blur. Godzilla Vs Kong Picsart Editing
For this image I choose 3.5 but it will depend on your image resolution, so play around with the settings and see what works best for your image. Now select your Sharp layer and change the blending mode to: Linear Light. Then head over to Image and then apply image over here. Now click on this drop down menu in the layer section and select your blur layer. Godzilla Vs Kong Picsart Editing
Then change the blending mode to subtract. For the scale you have to fill in 2 and for the offset 128. Now select your blur layer and grab the mixer brush. For the mixer brush settings I use Wet, Light Mix the most. Godzilla Vs Kong Picsart Editing
You can now start painting on your blur layer. The mixer brush works the same as the smudge tool so that’s how you have to use it otherwise it won’t work. You can see that the skin texture is still sharp. And it works really fast.
Hope you liked it, thanks for watching and see you guys around.
